 R.A.P.I.D.® LT System
The R.A.P.I.D. LT is a real-time PCR instrument capable of
analyzing samples for the presence of targeted nucleic acid sequences. Built upon LightCycler® technology, this instrument combines rapid air thermocycling and a real-time fluorimeter to reliably identify test samples in less than 35 minutes. Because of its sensitivity, accuracy, and high speed, it is the ideal instrument for rapid pathogen identification and genotyping.
Included with the instrument is a laptop computer pre-loaded with easy-to-use run and analysis software. The software
operates the instrument, automatically collects and analyzes data, then reports the results in an easy-to-read and printable format. An advanced version of the software is also available, which provides in-depth analysis tools for precise PCR analysis and information-management modules. |

R.A.P.I.D. LT Software
There are two versions of software. Each version has been designed to fit the needs of your growing laboratory.
Standard Version
Provided with each
instrument, this version is designed for those running BioFire Diagnostics reagents only. Simply load
the samples into the instrument, run an analysis, and view the results. It has a simple Wizard-based interface, automated qualitative analysis, text delineated exportable data, macros, and templates.
Our advanced version allows you to create and run custom tests and analyze the data in multiple ways. Perform advanced melting curve analysis, absolute quantification, and multiplex and color compensation that is available with this version.
Food Security Version
Provided with the R.A.P.I.D. LT Food Security System, this version is designed for those running BioFire Diagnostics' Food Security reagents.
Food Security Software Version is available on our R.A.P.I.D. LT Food Security System.
