Carousel Centrifuge

BioFire Diagnostics' Carousel Centrifuge was designed to speed up the workflow of those using BioFire Diagnostics' carousel-based PCR systems; including the R.A.P.I.D., R.A.P.I.D. LT, JBAIDS and LightScanner 32 systems.

This centrifuge allows researchers to centrifuge an entire carousel filled with up to 32 capillaries. This eliminates microcentrifuges (bubble) or other centrifuges that laboratories use for spinning capillaries.

Additionally, a bead tube adaptor can be used to centrifuge bead tubes commonly used in sample purification.

Workflow Center

Organization and order are critical to eliminating common lab errors while preparing samples for analysis. BioFire Diagnostics' Workflow Center was designed to help researchers speed up their sample processing and keep errors to a minimum.

Circular Racks

A standard instrument carousel can process up to 32 samples per run. Each Circular Rack is designed to hold 8 capillaries and 8 bead tubes so that setting up a full carousel of 32 samples is a snap. Each sample slot is numbered to help researchers keep their samples organized and reduce costly errors as well as minimize labor in labeling.

Bead Tube Disks

The Workflow Center comes with 4 Bead Tube Disk which have been designed to work with the Circular Rack. These disks allow for 8 bead tubes to be transferred to a Disruptor Genie®, then transferred to the centrifuge adaptors and centrifuged.

Centrifuge Adaptors

Two Centrifuge Adaptors are included which allow the Bead Tube Disks to be centrifuged in BioFire Diagnostics' Carousel Centrifuge.
